Stone Paris develops an almost infinite typology of jewelry that draws on all historical styles, keeping as common denominators only a certain sobriety, a timeless elegance of form and a keen sense of paradox. The different collections are all inspired by events or periods that marked Marie Poniatowski, creator of Stone Paris. Her strength stems from a passion for the history of form and a desire to promote the noblest of them.
Nourished by the memory of secular pieces she admired in her childhood, Stone Paris’ collections translate Marie Poniatowski’s sensibilities. She is inspired by all forms of expression everywhere and which speak to her. It is during a trip, an architectural detail, or from the allure of an antique piece of jewelry that the ideas for her collections are born. Sources of inspiration which she works and redesigns to become a graphic solution in their own right.
Her design style is easily recognizable through her marriage of gold and diamonds. It is the finesse of the pieces and the systematic marriage of these two noble materials that contribute to Stone Paris’ identity. This vision pushes Marie to design pieces that will last, designs that reflect the wearer.[link_rewrite] => inspiration ) => Array ( [id_cms] => 125 [id_cms_category] => 65 [position] => 1 [active] => 1 [indexation] => 0 [CMS_IMG] => [monoline] => 0 [id_lang] => 2 [id_shop] => 1 [meta_title] => JEWELER’S EXCELLENCE [meta_description] => [meta_keywords] => [content] =>
It is with a deep attachment and commitment to the traditional jeweler’s craft that Stone Paris designs its creations. Stone Paris uses only 18K certified gold and four colors are available in each collection. All of the pieces that leave our atelier undergo strict quality control, and as our clientele like to know the origins of their jewelry, Stone Paris is committed to implementing and promoting responsible practices. The sourcing of our raw materials is done under the aegis of the RJC (Responsible Jewelry Council) who’s mission is to certify high standards in ethics, environment and working conditions.
Every piece is carefully crafted by hand in our workshops. Each step of the creation process is meticulously orchestrated by our team of skilled jewelers, from designing the mold to polishing the finished piece.
Identical parameters can be found on each jewel, such as the presence of illusions and the pearled gold so dear to Stone Paris. The visible surfaces are hot formed, these techniques structure the design and bring more texture to the piece. Openwork gives rhythm to the piece and holds cut diamonds that are meticulously set. The particularity: holding the stones in place while leaving an opening so that all their shine and brilliance comes through.
Finally, Marie pays particular attention to mixing different stone sizes to fill out her settings creating particularly interesting effects of brilliance. She developed a real fascination for this stone, that she uses in all its facets. Depending on the theme, the diamond can be claw set and associated with round cuts, or baguette cut to bring us back to the beginnings of Art Deco.
Marie’s suggestions for caring for your jewelry:
We know that jewelry has high sentimental value and great significance for the wearer.
They are precious and must be treated with the utmost care. A few precautions are necessary to maintain their beauty and shine.
When you’re not wearing your piece, store it in its Stone pouch or case to protect it from scratches and damage.
It is not recommended to store multiple pieces in the same case as they might rub together and cause scratches.
Beware! Jewelry doesn’t like beauty products, sleeping with you, taking showers, going to the beach, working out or manual labor.
Your jewelry can be cleaned to intensify their shine: gently clean them with a soft toothbrush and soapy water, rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth or a hair dryer on the cold setting.
