Favorite

Inspired by the lavish lifestyle of 15th century royalty, the Favorite collection takes its name from King Louis XIV's favorites who went down in history, such as Madame de Montespan or Madame de Maintenon. A central figure in court life, at once beautiful, intelligent and spiritual, the favorite has a privileged and envied status. They are the influencers of their era. The latter launched all the court of Versailles' fashions. Dresses were made of gold brocades, damask, satin or velvet. And loaded with lace, trimmings, and most importantly sumptuous jewelry. Above all, Marie wanted to showcase the craftsmanship of the era and highlight the quality and finesse of the construction of these centuries-old pieces.
